I already had both settings you mentioned at the beginning of your response enabled.
Step 3 isn’t working for me. I’ve placed the code at the end of the functions.php file of the active theme (Astra), but it’s not deleting the current invoice numbers when I start with Step 4. When I go to the WooCommerce orders page, the same invoice numbers are still there.
Do I need to do anything else for that code to take effect?

Hi Bruce!
I did it before write here, but it didn´t work.
Non admin users can still see and delete the files that an admin have uploaded to media library.
The good thing would be that the folders created by a user hide the files inside of other users.
