In reply to: [Love Button] Love Button – Reset the CounterThank you.
So I just delete the whole code from love-button.php?I also noticed something else. When a sharing icon is clicked it increases the count even if the item isn’t actually shared. So if someone wants to share something and they choose twitter but then change their mind and decide not to, it still counts because they clicked the twitter icon. Is there a way to only count it if it was actually shared?

In reply to: [Social Media Widget] Links without iconsAnswering my own question in case someone else is having this problem.
The path was correct but the URL was wrong, even though I was really, really sure it was right. I was copying the URL and Path from my ftp client, which was giving me an extra “public_html” in the URL. That was resulting in links with no icons.
I noticed the error after trying the media uploader again and then looking at the URL of the icons in the “uploads” folder. Instead of “/public_html/blog/public_html/blog/wp-content/” the URLs were “/blog/public_html/blog/wp-content/”.
After I removed the extra “public_html” from the URL to the icons folder it looked like this:
http://www.mysite.com/blog/public_html/blog/wp-content/icons/vanillaLatte/medium/32x32/No change to the path because that part was already correct. Now it works.

In reply to: [WP-AntiSpambot] No valid plugins were found.I see what you mean about the folder structure. I did the manual install like you suggested and it worked perfectly. I will try the other plugin you suggested as well.
Thanks for helping me out!

In reply to: [Plugin: eShop] “Array” appears – I don’t know whyProblem solved…and it was something so simple!
I couldn’t figure out why the files weren’t being transferred to those two directories after deactivating/reactivating the plugin. I tried a few times, double checked permissions, but no luck. I tried one last time but deactivated ALL the plugins first, then reactivated eShop FIRST, then the other plugins. Now all the files are there, no blank screen when reactivating, and the message telling me to deactivate/reactivate the plugin is no longer at the top of the screen. Yay! =DAfter I was done I set the permissions on those two directories to 755. Should they be lower?

In reply to: [Plugin: eShop] “Array” appears – I don’t know whyYes, I made them writable but there are no files added when I deactivate/reactivate. Another thing is that when I first reactivate the plugin I get a completely blank screen, but when I refresh it everything looks normal again. I wonder what’s wrong?

In reply to: [Plugin: eShop] “Array” appears – I don’t know whyI created the two directories and deactivated and reactivated the plugin twice but the “4.2.3 now ready to use” message is still at the top and those directories are still empty. As far as I can tell it’s not affecting how the plugin works so I guess it will just have to stay like that, at least for now. Thanks for all the help 🙂

In reply to: [Plugin: eShop] “Array” appears – I don’t know whyI don’t see those. The only folders I see for eshop are wp-content–> plugins –> eshop –> etc. (listed above). I don’t see an eshop_downloads folder in wp-content or eshop_files folder in wp-content/uploads. Do I need to manually install these?
I also just installed the plugin update earlier today. I don’t know if that makes a difference, but it still shows the message at the top of the dashboard.

In reply to: Shortcodes stop working after 2.9 upgradeWell, mine are working again but I don’t know exactly what fixed it. After the 2.9 upgrade that originally failed there was a big mess with lots of blank pages, broken links, and missing images. Found that I had folders in the wrong spot and even duplicate folders (!!?) which was breaking all my links. After cleaning that up, I turned off all plugins, turned them back on one at a time and then everything worked again.

In reply to: [Plugin: eShop] Order confirmation emailsI haven’t received any orders yet but when I sent the test email using the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin and using my gmail address everything worked fine. So I set up gmail to forward to my other email address. I think it will work since I received the test email but I don’t know. Try it on your shop and see what happens.
