Ok, I Understand that I have lost the site altogether then as the backup could not be restored to a working version.
Thanks. Those plugins have remained installed and activated, I’m wondering if it is possible to get the website content back, there were many pages that have just disappeared. if you are aware of any way I can do this? Or do I need to start all over again?
Wordpress was installed a few years ago, I have updated the Flash theme. all plugins are up to date. I feel like I’m going to have to start again 🙁

FYI:
deactivated and reactivated every other plugin to see which one was causing the issue.
wptouch mobile plugin deactivated and Easy Pricing Tables back end function restored
