Not a bad idea at all, but it’s a kind of business directory and the companies would prefer to see the full link.
Unfortunately, it isn’t an isolated problem in my browser as others have confirmed it.

That might work in theory, but the problem is that some links are simply too long and are automatically “cut off” and continued on a new line, which then breaks the link.
Also, when I try and short them to display only parts of it, the link doesn’t work anymore.
What puzzles me, is that this is a problem known in PDF conversion, but the PDF itself works. It is only when it the PDF is uploaded (or downloaded – not sure when the issue happens) that the links don’t work anymore.
