  • In staging I applied BuddyBoss 3 latest updates to BB Main Theme, BB Platform, BB Platform Pro. I applied all 3 updates and then applied WP Hide Login update 1.9.16.6.

I then used a separate incognito browser window to login to the staging

The site loads ok but upon login I can confirm that from either front end or back end login 1.9.16.6 generates a critical error message on the /wp-login.php page which disables any attempt to login. As nyhadna mentioned in another thread “locked out”. The staging site generates the error

I then deactivate WPS Hide Login 1.9.16.6 and refreshed the site and it reappeared as logged in.

But whilst WPS Hide Login 1.9.16.6 is deactivated now the staging site shows 404 page when logging out.

There has been a critical error on this website.

I too have a Buddyboss / Buddyboss Platform problem

I am currently running WPS Hide Login on version 1.9.16.3

I created a staging site updated WordPress to 6.5.5 and updated WPS Hide Login to 1.19.16.5 and immediately got There has been a critical error on this website message.

I am with Kinsta hosting and this is a copy of the message from their Tech and the error they can see from their end. I have redacted my website to website ….Hope it assists you.

Yes you are 100% right it is working now when deactivated.

    6:10 am

I would report it to WP Hide Login devs and share those error logs above with them

(I have reposted this to the main thread page you may delete this)

    HTTP 500 Error

I would like to report a possible conflict with BuddyBoss Platform.

After updating WPS Hide Login from version 1.9.16.3 to 1.9.16.4 and working within FluentCRM I was getting error that were resolving themselves until the site crashed.

I contacted my host KINSTA and was told there was a conflict with BuddyBoss platform. Also another website hosted with Kinsta had just experienced the same problem.

I mentioned the latest update to my site was wps hide login. They later confirmed they deactivated wps hide login on the other website hosted and the 500 error was resolved. I in the meantime restored my website from a backup I had created before updating the plugin. Kinsta checked and confirmed my site was not generating the error any more.

I have left wps hide login at version 1.916.3.

Can you please look into this
