 * I have upgraded to 1.8.20 and now everything works again as expected, thank you

 * Unfortunately this release has not fixed the issue. The attachment is now indeed
   saved, but under a strange name (582dff6f556c7.pdf), not it’s original name. 
   Furthermore, the post is empty and no link to the attachment is added.

 * Done. When I sent the exact same e-mail that I sent to [test@postieplugin.com](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jthread/replies/test@postieplugin.com?output_format=md)
   to my site, the described problem happens.
