thanks for contacting us!I could see the problem on your site. It’s probably due to some customization of your theme or another plugin, since the button shouldn’t refresh the page to add the item to the wishlist.
I recommend performing the following tests to see if the problem disappears at any point:
- Update the plugin, WC, and WP to the latest version.
- Switch to a default WP theme like 2025.
- Leave only WC and our plugin active, and activate your other plugins one by one until you find the conflicting one.

Just to verify, have you tried disabling Flatsome and activating a default WordPress theme like 2025 to see if that resolves the issue? That way you can see if the problem originates from Flatsome or not, since I currently see the X icon in my installation, and you can also see it in our demo.

Hello there,
The problem is that you’re using Flatsome, which overwrites the share.php template containing that icon. I recommend deleting it or renaming it to prevent the overwriting, or you can contact their support team for verification. The template is located in the following directory:
\wp-content\themes\flatsome\woocommerce\share.phpCould you check it, please?
