I’m super confused about this too. Is there really not a way, without clicking and updating EVERY IMAGE to a media category, to assign categories to images? This is pretty dang frustrating. Does anyone know of a plugin that does let you do that? That’s all I need, actually – and why I installed this plugin to be honest, because I just assumed that would be how things worked. Oops!
