As I just updated in my other question, the code provided in the fix mentioned above did work. I just wasn’t seeing it in the RSS because apparently the feed is not automatically updated. Once I re-saved a post with a guest author, the feed was updated, and the guest author properly showed up in it.

I just posted basically the same question. Trying to get the guest author in the RSS. A previous question seemed to have a solution, but it’s not working for me. Hopefully we can get an answer here.
