I am currently locked out at url/wp-admin getting the following message similar like OP above
“W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place…”
I proceed to delete the plugin without deactivating it first.
I have removed all offending files and directories suggested by @bogdanstratulat above.
I have replaced core files and checked .htaccess and no trace of W3 codes left.
Where else could W3 be inserting codes? as I’m still unable to login to dashboard.
