In reply to: Admin delete user's post but attached image still in upload folder“How would WordPress know that the images exist and with what post they were uploaded?”
As I understand the theme is built using original function of WordPress, attached images are uploaded using core functionality of WP.
Wslade you know that WordPress can recognize that an image is attached or not attached to a post ?“As an example, if I delete a post from my blog that contained images, I wouldn’t necessarily want all the images to be automatically deleted. I might be using the images in another post or I may plan to reuse an image in a future post.”
That could happen but is less convincing if considering the fact that attached images are deleted when the author delete the post and are not when admin delete other’s post. Who is likely to save images for future use, Admin or the Author ?

In reply to: Admin delete user's post but attached image still in upload folderHi wslade, thanks for your reply.
I did the test myself and saw the error occurs with normal post. What i did :
-Deactivate the theme wpestate and activate the default 2012.
-Create and publish a post with attached images under editor permission (user A).
-Delete the post under admin (user B).-> Imgages in upload folder still remain.
I did the test under Desktop Server environment.Neither me nor the theme seller know the cause of this error. That’s why i come here to ask, any help please.
Thanks.
PS: it is strange that i don’t find any topics about this issues in the internet. :-S
