Update: Posts that were scheduled before the plugin was installed were not showing up in live articles or AMP front page. Updating the posts after the plugin was installed resolved the issue.
AMPforWP Settings -> Advance Settings
You will see a box for HTML in Head as well as body and footer if you need those.
