the issue was resolved from some reason recaptcha was always failing removing the keys and adding new ones seems to have fixed the issue thank you

Thanks for your reply I already fixed the problem it was some filter or A hook in some other plugin that forwards the user to the home page after registeration for some reason this caused an issue with the registeration process so I deactivated that plugin and everything is working fine now
Update
I’m able to login to the test account if I go to the database and change the password to any other password and change the encryption to md5
I’m also able to login if I request a password reset but other than that I will always get error: wronng password when trying to login
