There is lots of smilar topics at this plugin’s basic versions support page. Now i’m looking smilar topics to finding solution. If i can’t, try to find another way.
Actually there is another way.. When i asked to Yoast about this problem, they say if i purchase for premium version they will help.
If this challenge’s reason is not coding in plugin (premium vs basic) – i mean if we’re not looking right documentation – i believe solution wait for us to discover

I have smilar problem. I’ve edited homepage snippet but only Yahoo search result is correct as my change direction. Google, Yandex and Bing select snippet text from footer text. Also, Yandex can’t select all of footer text.

This site is in Turkish, search results is too.. But you can realize difference
