I just realized that for “Content-Type: multipart/alternative”, only the 7bit, 8bit, or binary values are permitted for the “Content-Transfer-Encoding” header, as specified by the IETF MIME standard (RFC 2045, Section 6.4). Encodings such as base64 and quoted-printable are not allowed for multipart content.

The URL renders correctly in the chatbot UI, so it works fine from the user’s perspective. However, I’ve noticed that the issue still persists in the transcript output.

It looks like the link is not being properly handled or encoded in the transcript. For example:

I installed version 3.1.5, and the PDF sitemap import is now working correctly.

However, there is still a minor issue to fix. When the chatbot displays a link to a specific page within a PDF, the URL is not constructed properly.

Example:

The URL should be:
https://lelaurier.net/wp-content/uploads/Fileaway/Administration/D%C3%A9claration%20de%20copropri%C3%A9t%C3%A9/Partie%202%20-%20R%C3%A8glement%20de%20l%27immeuble%20%(2025-08-28).pdf#page=30

But the current output is:
https://lelaurier.net/wp-content/uploads/Fileaway/Administration/R%C3%A8glement/Partie%202%20-%20R%C3%A8glement%20de%20l’immeuble%20(2025-08-28

The segment “).pdf#page=30” is missing from the URL. Instead, “pdf#page=30)” is appended as plain text outside the link. Also note that the closing parenthesis “)” appears at the end, whereas it should be part of the filename before “.pdf”.

I switched to “PDF upload” from computer and I’m seeing the same behavior.

I realized that the references like “([règlement](mxchat://manual-content/1774355469-z24zdXzW))” are now appearing because the “Citation Links” option was enabled. I’ve now turned it off.

However, I recall that references previously appeared as clickable links that opened a specific section of the PDF. Could you clarify how to restore that behavior?

You were right. There is a conflict with the plugin “PDP for WPForms” version 6.5.1 https://fr.ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/pdf-for-wpforms/ I did roolback to version 6.5.0 and this version is OK.

Is there a way to only change the upload field to do multiple files ? Snippet ?
