I tried using an HTTPS plugin, and I even tried redirecting from HTTPS to HTTP using my .htaccess file. But that won’t work. You can redirect from HTTP to HTTPS, but you can’t redirect from HTTPS to HTTP, because that would be a security risk.
I have changed it to show the events on my main site, so it kind of works (though the locations still don’t work). But that is not ideal. I want to send people to the sub-sites.
