I have the same issue and feel the same about Arvixe. The only solution I’ve found is to change my IP with my ISP…but not a satisfactory solution. I do use Wordfence. What is going on and how do we stop it? I’ve lost valuable time to this issue. Anyone else?

UPDATE. FYI. Upon contacting my server, they fixed it with the following explanation: ” We have switched default PHP version on many servers to PHP 5.4 to improve memory utilization. This may result in 500 errors or similar errors on some sites using old php handlers explicitly in .htaccess. I have commented the below line within your .htaccess file. That should address the internal server errors you are seeing. AddHandler application/x-httpd-php52 .php .php5 .php4 .php3″
