In reply to: [Shipping Live Rates for USPS for WooCommerce] New USPS Web Tools API emailHi @catyf,
We do our best to keep our plugins always up to date with the API changes and I can confirm its fully prepared. In case you still don’t have access to the new API, please follow the instructions for our step-by step guide here: https://octolize.com/docs/article/usps-how-to-get-acces-to-usps-rest-api/
Kind regards,
LukeHi @stefaaan
To be completely honest, we’re a bit surprised by your review and, as far as I remember, this is the first time we’ve come across such feedback in nearly 10 years the plugin exists. In fact, most users have appreciated the ability to enter more precise numerical values, especially since weight is often measured to three decimal places (kg → g, etc.), and it’s something they find totally natural. For instance, the latest review:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/excellent-plugin-9459/
In your case, the weight ranges you’ve set overlap, which is why the shipping cost from both rules is being added. The first weight range 0-0.1kg ends exactly where the second one starts 0.1-0.25kg — at 0.1 kg. It means that the products weighing exactly 0.1 kg match both rules, leading to the costs coming from these rules being combined. This is expected behavior based on logical conditions.
To illustrate it better with another example, if you assigned a product to 2 categories, one being a subcategory of the other, like ‘Living room’ being the part of ‘Furniture’ category, the product would show up in both categories when filtering, since their ranges overlap.
Frankly speaking, we haven’t encountered any other plugins that would work differently in such a case because excluding this kind of overlap in ranges would be risky and not advisable, as it could only lead to further complications.
I understand that you need our help with the configuration here?

LukeThank you for the confirmation. Does the production one work fine?

LukeAre you sure you’re not using the test key and it’s assigned to a shipping account? The error you’re getting suggests you are trying to use the test credentials which are not supported via REST API, what we confirmed with FedEx support.

LukeHi @neocopia,
According to what you have written, there must be something wrong with the plugin configuration in you case. Would you like us to take a closer look at the situation and help you with the proper setup?
Kind regards,
LukeHi @speedracer1190,
The error you’ve pasted doesn’t come from our Flexible Shipping plugin but probably from another one, possibly a security-related plugin. You can verify this by disabling Flexible Shipping shipping methods temporarily, adding WooCommerce default Flat rates instead and checking if the issue still occurs. If so, it confirms that it’s not FS-related.

LukeHi @helgatheviking,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I totally see your point, and we’ll definitely keep it in mind for upcoming updates.

LukeHi @kubar,
Have you built the custom cart/checkout page with Divi or are you using the default WooCommerce ones? From what you have written it seems like it might be related to the fact that Divi duplicates the standard function responsible for displaying the ‘Left for free shipping’ notice.
