In reply to: Login page is hanging after WordPress updateThanks so much for your help. I’ve tried accessing the WP admin panel via incognito mode and it made no difference – still the same problem. I’m not sure what you mean about caching plugin? I’m not using any plugins? I read elsewhere online of other users experiencing a similar problem who had success in clearing their browser’s cache. I’ve done this but it makes no difference. I don’t think my web host will be particularly interested in this problem because I only experience the problem with WordPress. My http://www.heathergrace.co.uk site is working perfectly well in that all of the pages and articles are accessible. I did notice that there seem to be two MySQL databases associated with http://www.heathergrace.co.uk, and both seem to be WordPress-related. Is this normal?

In reply to: Login page is hanging after WordPress updateUpdate: I can now (weirdly) get to WP admin using Microsoft Edge on my laptop, which I couldn’t earlier today, but not Internet Explorer 11 or Google Chrome, in spite of deleting the cache on both browsers. I don’t usually use Microsoft Edge and need to be able to get in using Chrome. Any suggestions?

In reply to: Login page is hanging after WordPress updateThanks, I’ve done this and there’s no error message on the screen – the login screen just seems to hang, with the little whirling icon spinning around on the tab in Google Chrome.
I’ve noticed that I can access WP Admin via the WordPress app on my mobile phone, which would suggest the problem is something browser-related? Yet my problem is happening in 3 different browsers.
