Hello @tivnetinc,

Thank you for your prompt reply. Bearing in mind the security issues with the present version of WPGlobus Translate Options plugin, it would be appreciated if you could update the file on GitHub as soon as possible.

Hello Murad,

I consider your response fast, especially at the weekend. Thanks for the update.

I have installed the update, but the scrollbar is still stuck at the top and the drag issue continues.

Hello @muradwahid,

I had found the nicescroll-cursor, but wasn’t sure what to use for the horizontal scrollbar. Your code works perfectly. Many thanks for your help.

The present Version 1.8.1 of the plugin does not work with the Twenty Sixteen and Creative Focus themes. I was unaware of the clear hook warning in the Changelog and had been unsuccessful when trying the change to the footer hook as suggested at the bottom of the Toggle Bar settings page: “Toggle Bar Injection Header Footer. Inject the toggle bar HTML at the beginning of the body HTML, or in the footer. The bar will still appear at the top either way, this just affects the markup order. Header is generally better if your theme supports the wp_body_open hook.”.

Much time was wasted trying to find what had broken. The warning in the Changelog should have appeared in the Settings page. Should’nt the Twenty Sixteen theme from WordPress be compatible? Can this be checked? If Version 1.7.2 is retained, are there any security issues?

Hello Mohit,

Thanks for your reply. I installed on a site today and runng the MDN HTTP Observatory had the following messages: Strict-Transport-Security header not implemented and Content-Type-Options header not implemented
Both had been set with custom entries. I tried again with default entries and then with Default Reset, but all returned the ‘not implemented’ message.

Hello Demis,

Many thanks for the update to 0.9.7 version. It fixes the Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly issue in the old core themes and the deprecated PHP issue with version 0.9.6. However, I was surprised that it requires PHP 8.2 and could not install it on one site that runs on PHP 8.1.

Hello Demis,

I would like to update the information about the issues after the update to version 0.9.5. It appears that the update did not fix the issue on some sites
PHP Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly.
It seems to be dependent on the theme in use: Twenty Eleven , Twenty Twelve and Twenty Sixteen themes still showed the issue.

After updating version 0.9.6 today the above themes are now ok. However, a new deprecated PHP issue is now showing:
Creation of dynamic property Nicescrollr\Shared\Nsr_Nicescroll_Localisation::$domain is deprecated
wp-content/plugins/nicescrollr/shared/class-nicescroll-localisation.php:61 Nicescrollr\Shared\Nsr_Nicescroll_Localisation->__construct() wp-content/plugins/nicescrollr/includes/class-nsr.php:115 Nicescrollr\Includes\Nsr->set_instances() wp-content/plugins/nicescrollr/includes/class-nsr.php:104 Nicescrollr\Includes\Nsr->__construct() wp-content/plugins/nicescrollr/nicescrollr.php:102 Nicescrollr\run_nsr() wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php:324 do_action('plugins_loaded') wp-settings.php:578

Hello Demis,

I have updated Nicerollr on all sites and the PHP Notice: Function load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly is no longer showing.

Many thanks for your attention to this issue.

Hello Beatrice,

Thank you for your reply. Yes the problem seems to be with the theme even though it is from WordPress. The site is not commercial and the content is cultural with many photographs and texts including scripts which are not Latin, so it would be a lot of work to rebuild it. I would like to keep using Fancybox and have tweaked the captions and they work fine with version 3.3.5. I will take a look at the theme and perhaps can find a way to fix the compatibility problems with version 3.3.7 and put in the child theme.

Same problem on two sites. Download page cannot be reached.

Hello Beatrice,

First I must apologise for some incorrect information: the theme in use is Twenty Eleven and not Twenty Thirteen. Perhaps you can check out the compatibility issues with this theme My WordPress is version 6.8.1 and PHP is version 8.3.19.

Thank you for your suggestion to use a later WordPress version. If I go to Twenty Nineteen with FancyBox version 3.3.7, it does not show the scrambled captions, although it would need a child theme and adding CSS to style the captions. With more than 140 images in various configurations changing the theme would not be possible at this time.

If you do not find a solution to this caption issue, may I ask what are the vulnerabilities in staying with FancyBox version 3.3.5?

Now getting the following:

strpos(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($haystack) of type string is deprecatedwp-includes/functions.php:7360

Deprecatedstr_replace(): Passing null to parameter #3 ($subject) of type array|string is deprecatedwp-includes/functions.php:2195

Are you still supporting this plug-in? Your attention would be much appreciated.

Hello Beatrice,

As explained earlier, both sites with this problem use the Twenty Thirteen with child themes. These sites were built more that 12 years ago with relatively few changes and additions over the years. I didn’t use galleries and always used the Add Media button to add images to pages. I don’t recall exactly how the captions were added originally. There have been many changes in the page that opens when the Visual Editor is open for the page and the Edit icon is clicked on the image. For the captions to appear in the FancyBox display, they now only work if added to the Image Title Attribute box in Advanced Options.

This may not have been the case 12 years ago as there were many upsets when the block editor was introduced. I would have to do some experimenting with a set-up using the original WordPress and plugin versions and work up from there to know what has happened as the changes took place. Following the many changes made by WordPress updates (not by me), the images on the pages now typically show the captions on the Code page for the regular-sized image (not for the FancyBox like this one for the example I posted:
<img class="wp-image-5915 alignleft" style="border: 5px solid #927a57;" title="<a/><span style="color: #222222; font-size: small;"><strong>Glossy Ibis</strong></span><br /><span style="font-size: x-small;">Photograph attributed to André Karwath, Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 2.5 Generic License.</span>"
However, for the title attribute boxes needed for the FancyBox, I add:
Glossy Ibis
Photograph attributed to André Karwath, Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 2.5 Generic License.

The changed coding for the regular images is confusing and hard to read, but I haven’t found a way to revert it to the original coding on the page. Am I missing something?

Hello Beatrice<

I have always cleared the browser and the server caches. I am not using a cache plugin. I have just run all the previous checks again with the same results for version 3.3.7. Using version 3.3.5 everything displays correctly.

Note that I am using the Classic Editor for this website with captions set to be inside. On a different website using the Block Editor with the Elementor plugin and captions set to outside, I have no problems.
