In reply to: [Sydney] Polylang does not translate Sydney header slider textAlso, I backed down the Polylang plugin to 2.7 version (the newest is 3.1.4), and the site also broke, showing white screen with the same message “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”
I updated my Polylang plugin back to version 3.1.4. via cPanel, and the site is back live, but with the same issue not resolved.
In Languages/String translations I can change the bulk action only for “Cookie notice” text, but for “sydney”, “WordPress” and “wordpres-seo” the bulk actions box can not be changed nor checked/unchecked.
Thank you & Best regards,

In reply to: [Sydney] Polylang does not translate Sydney header slider textHi
Thank you Kharis.
Yes, I am running Sydney Child theme via Child Theme configurator plugin.
I am using plugins as follows:

– Child Theme Configurator
– Cookie Notice & Compliance for GDPR / CCPA
– Custom Fonts
– Elementor
– Elements Plus!
– Erident Custom Login and Dashboard
– Essential Addons for Elementor
– Fast Velocity Minify
– MouseWheel Smooth Scroll
– Polylang
– Smush
– UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore
– WP Fastest Cache
– WPFront Scroll Top
– WPS Hide Login
– Yoast SEOI tried to disable all plugins nothing happened, nothing changed. I deactivated the Elementor plugin, now my site is broken and it says “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” I can not access my dashboard, nor see my site in live, just this message.
I activated the Elementor plugin back via phpMyAdmin in cPanel and now I can access my site dashboard again and the site is working in live view, but the hero slider text and button text translations problem is still there.

In reply to: [Polylang] Polylang does not translate header slider textI have updated my site php to the latest:
“You are running WordPress 5.9.2 | PHP 8.1.4 | LiteSpeed | MySQL 10.5.15-MariaDB-log”
The header text and button text sill do not translate. I tried to disable the ElementorPlus plugin but the issue is the same.
The text on my hero sliders and the button text are shown in the primary language, when I change the language to another the text from menu and the site changes, but the text from my hero sliders and the button text are do not change the translation that I have inserted to Languages/String translations.

In reply to: [Sydney] Polylang does not translate Sydney header slider textAfter downgrading, the translation is not working, and when I got down to version 2.7, the site only showed the above mentioned message.
I upgraded php version from 7.1.33 to the newest 8.1.4 in my cPanel, and the hero slider still does not translate the slider text and the button text. Everything else is translated, menu etc.
The site is a https.

Hello
On this site there is a message “Your site is running an insecure version of PHP (7.1.33), which should be updated. … The minimum recommended version of PHP is 7.4.”
Should I update my php version – Could this be the reason?
I have checked my php version in my cPanel, it is still 7.0.
Thank you for your help & Best regards,

In reply to: [Sydney] Polylang does not translate Sydney header slider textI tried that, but when rolling back up to 2.7, nothing changed. When I got to rolling back and activating version 2.7, another Error message showed and I can not enter my dashboard.

Hi
I also tried to update Elementor-Plus (without updating the Elementor plugin) and the site did not show mentioned Error,
BUT
all site-galleries were missing.Thank you for your help & Best regards,
BRHi Kharis,
Thank you for your reply & your time.
I switched to Twenty-TwentyOne theme, updated Elementor plugin to the latest (3.6.1.; also happened with update to 3.6.0.), cleared the Cache, and there was no Error message, the site worked normally, it just showed a bit different due the fact that it was another theme.
Looking at the message, and the end of it in the part …sanitize_settings(Arr in /…/wp-content/plugins/elements-plus/elements/ep-justified-gallery.php on line 251…, I looked it in my phpAdmin, and this is what I found in line 251:
‘scheme’ => Scheme_Typography::TYPOGRAPHY_4,
Maybe it hs something to do with a missing plugin code part – “Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘Elementor\Scheme_Typography’ not found in…” – there is “Elementor\” part missing in that line 251 when I look in my php.
Seeing in the message that the error is connected with Elements-Plus, I tried to disable the plugin Elements-Plus, than I updated the Elementor plugin to the latest and the Error message did not show, just the site was dissorted. I activated the Elementor-Plus plugin back after updating Elementor to 3.6.1., and the Error message showed again.
Thank you for your help & Best regards,

In reply to: codepen html js css in wordpress – EasyThank you for your reply Joy (@joyously)
Hmmm…
I saw this code at codepen:
https://codepen.io/feizc002/pen/bQqqPm
and wanted to use it in my Sydney child theme on my new wp website (still on my localhost), and I have no idea how to have this code integrated in my wp.
I also saw this code:
https://codepen.io/karlovidek/pen/KQzJoP
, and also have no idea how to integrate it.
I know I should probably read some books and things about programing, but I tought that someone has an easy way tutorial of integrating this code in wp (put the html code there, css and js files there etc.), but as I see I am probably to optimistic.
Thank you for your help
