In reply to: [WPNewsman Lite] RolesCurrently, there’s no option to do it from the plugin itself, but you can achieve this by using the 3rd party plugin “Capability Manager Enhanced“. You will need to add the “newsman wpNewsman” capability to the Editor role. After installing that plugin go to Users->Role Capabilities. In the upper right corner load the Editor role capabilities, then check the “newsman wpNewsman” capability in the “Additional Capabilities” section and save the changes.

Please, go to the Settings -> Permalinks and see what permalinks structure you use. If it’s Default, choose any of other options except Default then click the “Save Changes” option and see if the plugin started sending emails or not.

If your web server is nginx, the sending engine on this server does not work so WPNewsman will not be able to send emails. In this situation you can keep WPNewsman on your site and collect subscribers through it. Or you can upload existing subscribers into the WPNewsman lists.
And for sending emails to your subscribers, you can use G-Lock EasyMail7 software. You can connect to your WPNewsman lists from EasyMail7 through API and send messages to the subscribers’ lists. Hi, there are so many different plugins so we are not able to test WPNewsman with all of them. We have discovered that some plugins break the functionality of our plugin. We have the list of conflicting plugins here

We asked you to temporarily de-activate plugins on your blog and check if the problem with WPNewsman is gone or not. It is possible that there is a new plugin that we are not aware of that conflicts with our WPNewsman.

Hi, please, go to Settings -> Permalinks in your WordPress dashboard and in the Permalinks Settings click on “Save Changes”. See if it helps fix the error or not.
If it does not help, please, de-activate all plugins except WPNewsman and see if the error is gone or not. If the subscription goes well, start activating the plugins one by one and see after which plugin the error appears. The last activated plugin conflicts with WPNewsman.

Please, note that WPNewsman only sends confirmation and welcome emails to new subscribers during the subscription process.
After the subscribers are added to the list as “confirmed”, WPNewsman does not automatically generate or send any emails to the subscribers. It can only send emails after you manually press the “Send” button.
From your message I understood that you imported a list of 240,000 emails in WPNewsman and sent an email to the list. As a result your site was blocked. It’s not the fault of WPNewsman. It just did what you told it to do.
If your hosting plan does not allow you to send so many emails at a time, ask your hosting company about sending restrictions and set email throttling in WPNewsman settings.
If your site was blocked because you had a high bounce rate or spam complaint rate, consider verify your list and remove invalid emails from it. Then re-import good emails and send a re-subscription request to those people.

Please, make sure that the field short code for the main list is correct. Go to the “Lists and Forms” menu item in the WPNewsman menu, click on the “Edit Form” under the main list, click on the first name field in the form and copy the correct short code for the first name. Paste the short code into the newsletter.
Then click on the last name field in the form and copy the short code for the last name. Paste the short code in the newsletter.
Short codes depend on the field title and may differ from list to list.

The changes you make to the template are saved automatically. I edited the template and sent it to myself. The changes were applied.
“Edit Post Template” and “Edit Post Divider Template” allow to customize the template for blog posts. Here you can change the look how blog posts excerpts will be inserted and divided when you send a post digest. You can read more information about it here

These options work well for me too.
Please, see maybe there is a conflict with any other plugin or your theme. De-activate all plugins except WPNewsman and see how editing of the template works. If it works well, start activating the plugins one by one and notice the plugin after which it stops working. That last plugin causes the problem. Please, report that plugin to us.
If the problem still persists when all plugins are de-activated, try to temporarily switch to the default theme and see how the email templates in WPNewsman work. Probably there is a conflict with your custom theme.
