OK – feel like a fool. It was litespeed cache mucking me about. I thought I had disabled, purged, cleared – whatever. But my browser agent was not pulling a full reload! Anyway, sorted now – elementor NOT to blame!
OK – tracked down the issue in case others have this issue in future.
My server uses litespeed cacheing and although it is set to purge on updates such as page publishing and so on, not all browser agents caches were being purged – including my particular mobile browser agent. Apparently this can happen, albeit rarely.
The fix was to manually remove all cached data from the browser agent concerned (in my case chrome on my android) and reload. This solved the issue – so NOTHING to do with the plugin which is working as it should.
Hmmm. I have tried a few phones now and some work and others don’t (eg mine). I wonder if there is something else going on as I can’t really blame the plugin if it is working on some phones. I will investigate further using different mobile browsers, incognito etc and see what I find.

In reply to: [Elements Plus!] v2.14.2: Update to Elementor 3.6.0 causes fatal errorThank you to @r8r for noticing this issue – have got all my sites back! π
@markwaregr – will you issue a fix for your (great!) plugin at some point soon? Love to get all my tooltips back π
The issue is your progress bar. If I turn that off, the site springs back to life.
Please pass that on to the developers π
Cheers

In reply to: [Sermon Manager] How to create a custom templateHmmm – intriguing about the template – as I may want to do the same thing, so we will see what people say.
Regarding the Android App, you need to make sure that it is not being battery managed by the system, otherwise with the screen off, the app will be killed by the system.
Settings>Apps and Notifications>Special App Access>Battery Optimisation and then add your app to the exclusion (not optimised) list. If you have an earlier version of Android, search for ‘battery optimisation’ in settings.

In reply to: [Sermon Manager] Hosting Audio on Different SiteTo play Google hosted mp3 files you need to follow steps 2,3 and 4 and then paste the link generated in step 4 into the audio link in sermon manager when creating a sermon.
Make sure you follow the instructions exactly and it will work just fine.

In reply to: [Sermon Manager] sermon sort fields – how to add service typeYeah – I think quite a few of the arguments for other shortcodes are also not working.
For example, you cannot change the image size when setting a grid using the sermon_images or add the description plus some other stuff.
Been over six months since this plugin got an update, so I guess they are focusing on the pro version.
Thank you again

In reply to: [Sermon Manager] sermon sort fields – how to add service typeOK – that is very helpful to get me going, thank you.
And I wonder, yes, if it is a bug as only a few of the arguments for this shortcode seem to work.
Edit: although it does indeed show the Service Type field, when an option is chosen, it doesn’t filter π
