Thanks for your response. There is nothing in my .htaccess file that appears to be from Wordfence. As I was playing around with this, one of my sites found the update link. I still cannot get the others to do so. Perhaps it is some kind of timing issue. Anyway, not likely Wordfence it seems. Thanks again. Your plugin is one I really trust to keep hackers away.
Thank you, Caspar. I already had Restart on every main step selected based on an earlier post. Since my archive size that sometimes fails is only about 80 MG in size, I set the Restart on archive creation to 50. That worked when I tried the job, even though it was a bit slow taking 118 seconds. I will see if the problem reappears, and, if so, I will lower the archive setting again.
I have shared hosting on a major vendor site, and I guess it sometimes gets so busy that it really slows down the script execution.
Thanks again. This has been a very good plugin, even the free version.
OK. I deactivated Jetpack just to be safe. I hope you got what you needed.
I deactivated Sharing and Publicize as you requested. The form seems to be working now. I have left it up on the site busacad.org with those two features deactivated.
Jeremy,
I updated Jetpack to the 2.1.2b4 version you supplied above by ftp overwriting the folder and activating. The Formidable Pro form is still broken. The signature at the bottom is not displaying correctly, and the graphical signature feature does not work at all. I will leave this version of Jetpack activated on the site (busacad.org) until sometime this evening to give you a chance to review. when you get what you need to see, please respond so I can deactivate and get the form working properly again.Mark
Jeremy,
I am one of the Formidable Pro users having the problem with Jetpack. My site busacad.org under Pre-enrollment has a Formidable Pro form. I have Jetpack 2.1.1. I just enabled Jetpack, and it breaks the signature part of the form at the bottom. I deactivated, and everything is back working again. I had reported this under the thread http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/jetpack-contact-forms-are-broken-after-204-update which is now listed as resolved. Perhaps that was a bad place because that thread referred to the Jetpack forms. However, Jetpack has caused me problems since, I believe, 2.0.4. (It did not cause any problems when I first created my form on the site around October 2012.) All subsequent releases still had the issue, and the message board had lots of other people complaining about Jetpack destroying their layouts. I am not sophisticated enough to understand what the problem is, I just know that Jetpack breaks Formidable Pro.I have Jetpack disabled now because this site is actively recruiting people with that form. I can try to activate for a given period of time if that will help. Just suggest some windows of time that will work for you.

Just as an update, I updated JetPack to version 2.1.1, and my forms are still broken. This does not seem to be a stable plugin. I have deactivated so my forms will work again. Again, website is busacad.org. My forms are generated by Formidable Pro plugin, and it is called using the Raw html function before and after. The signature feature at the bottom of the Pre-Enrollment Form does not work properly with JetPack enabled. It did work fine with earlier versions of JetPack (several versions ago).
Jetpack 2.0.4 also broke part of a form generated with Formidable Pro forms plugin on my site “http://busacad.org/pre-enrollment/”. I have disabled the Jetpack and everything is working again. This is the second time I have had problems with Jetpack interfering with layout. Something about the way CSS or Javascript is handled in Jetpack 2 later editions seems to be prone to interfere.
