I hoped this wasn’t related to the theme.
I checked category.php in the theme and it uses the function get_template_part( loop , category) to display the categories. I tried to find where this function was defined but I can’t.
If this is theme related maybe I need to find a different theme or figure out how to rewrite the category.php. I did notice that listing by category showed the post in excerpt format but can’t find why that’s happening.
I have this same problem. I have gd-1.8.4-11 installed on a RedHat9 system. I tried to upgrade to the latest GD and have a problem with an older glibc. GD 2.0 requires version 2.3.4 of glibc that they only have versions for Fedora Core Linux, not RedHat9. My server is an older computer, PII 366Mhz, and I can’t upgrade the entire OS to Fedora Core. This PC runs perfectly serving all my web pages and I don’t want to fix what ain’t broke. Is there work around to uploading images without having to go through GD?
