Oh I forgot to say I’m using woocommerce – doh!

This is all really helpful, but my problem is when I try to open the .js files that need editing they appear for a flash of a second and disappear again so I can’t edit them. I’m using filezilla – any help much appreciated.

Thanks all. It’s now sorted – hooray!
Simple, all the download authentication plugins I can find dont then use the subsequent log they create in the way subscribe 2 does i.e. automatically send notifications of posts etc to those in the log. So you have to manually transfer the emails in the download authentication log to the subscribe2 database losing a high proportion of them to their spam filters in the process because obviously they haven’t verified a subscription request.
