    A follow-up.
All of my images have broken links. Is there a way to fix them all at once? Or will I have to do it picture by picture?

    Thanks, James.
All my plugins had deactivated yesterday, so I’d been re-installing.
But, geesh, when I went to switch my theme from Suffusion to Twenty Ten, turns out I had NO theme chosen and only ONE available – Twenty Ten.
Links to my pictures are down, but at least the site is up.
Do you have any idea what could have happened?
    Could I have been hacked?
Right before all this happened, someone had ‘spoofed’ my email from my other site: mfharnisch.com
When I checked with my web host, I was told I hadn’t been hacked just spoofed.
    Thanks for all your help,
    Maureen

    Hi Digital,
    I’m not running that plugin.

    Wow.
I’m in over my head. ALL my plugins have been deactivated due to an error. Says the plugin file does not exist.

    Hi Julia; Hi Roy,
I’m back. I reinstalled my sql database, then got a ‘couldn’t connect to database,’ so set up a new user, deleted the old user.
I no longer have the error about the database, and I can now log into my WP blog, but it’s not visible. It’s not loading. Sorry, I don’t know the terminology.
I can get to my dashboard and all my posts & pages are there – thank God – but when I go to maureencooke.com, there’s nothing there. At all.
    Any ideas?
    Maureen

P.S. Thank you both for your help. I am eternally grateful that I didn’t lose anything. 🙂

    Hi Julia,
Thanks. Unfortunately that didn’t do it. This is the error I’m getting:

Warning: require(/home/maureenc/public_html/wp-includes/load.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/maureenc/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 19
Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/maureenc/public_html/wp-includes/load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/maureenc/public_html/wp- settings.php on line 19

I may be wrong, but what I was thinking is that I could get into the php file & remove line 19?

Or am I at the point where I need to actually hire somebody?

    Maureen
