In reply to: WP Compatibility Patch HelpYou’re right, we also had this on our website. Other than deleting that account, removing the plugin, etc., are there any other steps anyone would recommend taking?

In reply to: WP Compatibility Patch HelpHey Clarkos,
I think you’re onto something, yes. Later on, our hosting provider flagged a file left behind after deleting the plugin as malicious code. I would recommend deleting the plugin and running an additional security check through a trustworthy plugin or your hosting provider as well.
I’m also not a PHP programmer and am unsure if there are additional steps you should take.

In reply to: WP Compatibility Patch HelpAlright, thank you – I’m going to go ahead and remove the plugin and mark this as resolved, we have updated a lot and our current WP version is pretty recent.

In reply to: WP Compatibility Patch HelpYes, that’s definitely what I was leaning towards doing. I guess I meant, if anyone knows who made this plugin, I would love to submit an issue to them (not being able to find it however likely means it’s not being maintained).

In reply to: [CM Tooltip Glossary] critical error after updating phpThank you! Confirming that the new version works, and I really appreciate it.

In reply to: [Glossary] critical error after updating phpI see, alright thank you and apologies for the confusion
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Glossary] critical error after updating phpIt looks like it’s called enhanced tooltip glossary on GitHub https://github.com/creativemindsplugins/enhanced-tooltipglossary so I assume the two are synonyms.

In reply to: [Glossary] critical error after updating phpI don’t know what you want me to say. This error only occurs when trying to network activate CM Tooltip Glossary. I’m not getting the plugin name incorrect, and we don’t have an Enhanced Tooltip Glossary installed. I would assume that, at some point, someone called CM Tooltip Glossary or maybe a certain part of it “enhanced-tooltip-glossary” in some code, but I’m not a dev.

In reply to: [Glossary] critical error after updating phpHello,
I had to reactivate the plugin to get this error. On the website it’s:

I also downloaded the debug log and the php_errorlog that is separate (but has a lot of error logs from tooltip). Let me know if either or both of those would be helpful.

In reply to: [Glossary] critical error after updating phpI’m not sure what you mean. It’s the standard “there has been a critical error on your website”. The same thing showing up on every website page.
Thank you, Riza! Deactivating all the plugins did help, it must have been a conflict. It’s not a big deal because I can deactivate just to change it – the conflict is Speed Optimizer which is part of SiteGround.
