Thanks! I also came on here to write a question just like jasonthoele’s. Appreciate the response, and I’m relieved it’s not a hack.
Thanks for checking into this; I too am waiting on its resolution.

In reply to: [evolve] Evolve Theme Change Front Page Content Box Button ColorBINGO! Moving around the CSS, for whatever reason, worked like a charm. The problem is solved, and all I had to do (for anyone else that may see this in the future and need to know) is move the CSS around. Here is the working version of the code:
.content-box-1 .read-more.btn { background: #f9a581; color: #ffffff; } .content-box-2 .read-more.btn { background: #8fb859; color: #ffffff; } .content-box-3 .read-more.btn { background: #78665e; color: #ffffff; } .content-box-4 .read-more.btn { background: #82a4fa; color: #ffffff; } #bootstrap-slider .carousel-caption .button{background:#dd9933 !important} .menu-item a { font-size: 1.28em!important; } #nav ul ul li a, #nav ul ul li a:visited {font-size:150%;} body #header.sticky-header }THANK YOU!

In reply to: [evolve] Evolve Theme Change Front Page Content Box Button ColorThat is a lot of extra work for you to do, and I just want to say that I appreciate all the effort.
I used the “Custom CSS” field which was very helpfully supplied by the theme’s developers.
In the dashboard: Appearance –> Customize, which brings up the site, with modification bar on the left. Most of the way down the bar is the Custom CSS field. This is exactly all of what I have in that field, for your reference.#bootstrap-slider .carousel-caption .button{background:#dd9933 !important} .menu-item a { font-size: 1.28em!important; } #nav ul ul li a, #nav ul ul li a:visited {font-size:150%;} body #header.sticky-header } .content-box-1 .read-more.btn { background: #f9a581; color: #ffffff; } .content-box-2 .read-more.btn { background: #8fb859; color: #ffffff; } .content-box-3 .read-more.btn { background: #78665e; color: #ffffff; } .content-box-4 .read-more.btn { background: #82a4fa; color: #ffffff; }Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [evolve] Evolve Theme Change Front Page Content Box Button ColorI absolutely do not. Unless the EWWW Image Optimizer plugin qualifies as a caching tool?
I had a caching plugin a couple of months ago, but I had to uninstall it due to problems it was causing on the site.
Thank you for looking into this for me!
I just updated as well, and would also like to know the answer to this.

In reply to: 301 Redirect Loop Created Trying to Track Google AnalyticsI appreciate the reply. My understanding of WP help, is that a user such as myself should search for related topics and try to fix issues themselves, and then ask for help if documented issues do not solve their problem. So when you say I have messed up the .htaccess without a knowledge, I am trying not to take offense. I thought I had arrived at that particular solution through research for a best practice.
I am a WP beginner. As stated above, yes – I want “usage reports so we can use the different parked domains in different marketing campaigns and I will be able to measure their effectiveness.” Campaign tracking, as you said.
I have read through documentation, but reading and understanding can be entirely different animals. In my case with this – they are. I read, but I do not understand.
What conditions do I need to add to prevent a loop? Since I am not a developer, I have been resorting to “cut and paste”, as you said, because I do not have the knowledge or experience to create my own code.
I appreciate any help in this that is provided.

In reply to: [evolve] Evolve Disable Main Menu Hover EffectThanks for the reply emranemranx. I tried what you had posted, and gave up and used the plugin Northwoods Creative suggested above: No Title Tooltips.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [evolve] Evolve Disable Main Menu Hover EffectThank you! I’ve tried the attached code in the link above, and replaced their suggested “my_menu” with my menu name “menu_1” in each occurrence, so my code looked like this:
}
add_filter( ‘wp_nav_menu’, ‘menu_1_notitle’ );
add_filter( ‘wp_page_menu’, ‘menu_1_notitle’ );
add_filter( ‘wp_list_categories’, ‘menu_1_notitle’ );But it didn’t work for me. Are you able to determine from this what I did wrong? If this is a dead-end, I’ll try googling some more.

In reply to: [evolve] Evolve Disable Main Menu Hover EffectThank you, I appreciate the response.
If at all possible, I would really prefer to add some custom CSS or another type of fix to control this situation rather than add another plugin. My list of plugins is becoming too large and cumbersome, and this seems such a small issue to have to add a plugin to fix it.
I thought that the Evolve menu option I checked off, which I described at the very beginning of this post string should have fixed the issue, and I’m wondering why it did not.

In reply to: [evolve] Evolve Disable Main Menu Hover EffectWhat browser are you not seeing it in? Because I see them in IE11, Google Chrome and in Firefox.
If you mouse over menu items, “Welcome” has a small white box that pops up that also says “Welcome”. Same goes for “Contact Us” and then on “About” it really gets annoying because in Chrome the white box displays on top of the drop down menu item (Industry Background) and prevents the text from being fully visible.
Maybe I am just not calling the small white boxes with text in them that I see pop up, the right name. I frequently have that problem on WP since I am new at this…not knowing the correct words to use to describe my problem, in order to find the right solution. But maybe now I’ve described it better? They are definitely still there when I look.

In reply to: [Selection Sharer by Hans van Gent] Selection Sharer Install Not WorkingYes, I highlighted text, then pasted the above. Selection Sharer does work for me in Google Chrome and FireFox. Just not in IE 11.
I have resolved this myself, thank you.

In reply to: [Selection Sharer by Hans van Gent] Selection Sharer Install Not WorkingSure – http://www.assetdocsystems.com is the site.
I looked up how to go about seeing errors in my console log in my browser…if I found the correct information on how to do this: in Internet Explorer I pressed F12 and saw the following items related to Selection Sharer:
‘<script src=”http://www.assetdocsystems.com/wp-content/plugins/selection-sharer/js/selection-sharer.js?ver=0.1″ type=”text/javascript”></script>’
‘<div class=”selectionSharer” id=”selectionSharerPopover” style=”position: absolute;”> <div id=”selectionSharerPopover-inner”>
