Hi @salesian , first you need to install plugin from wordpress admin. If as you mentioned you are unable to login, you need to contact with your hosting provider to reset your password.
@ckwang , if trash was enabled then you can get all deleted files inside trash. If not, then you need to contact with your hosting provider to get the backup.

Yes you can user sort by name asc/desc by following given steps.
Go to path: wp-content/plugins/file-manager-advanced/application/library/js/elfinder_script.js.
Then add given options under ui: afm_object.ui and before commandsOptions.
sort: ‘name’,
sortDirect: ‘asc’ or ‘desc’,

Hi @blaisejc @multisite2masochist , issue has been resolved in v 5.1.2 and update has also been released. Please try to update to latest version and then follow given steps:
- Go to File Manager -> Settings.
- Then select “Administrator” check box from “Who can access File Manager?” options.
