yes, every 404 detection will be logged and after detection our plugin do not allow attackers to get access to your page. After detection all issues saved in logs. If you turn off 404 module this protection type will be disabled.

In our plugin we have multiply modules which have antivirus scan and file scanner functionality. We have few antivirus modes. First one is local file scanner and another step it’s cloud antivirus which check your website files. It’s up to you and you can use different plugin modules for protection from viruses and infected files detection.

In our plugin we have advanced log system. Our system create logs of the all ddos attacks and bruteforce attempts. You have logs and advanced notification module which send email notifications hwne our module detect some secure problems on your website.

Of course you can use ban function of our security module to make IP’s of the attackers banned. We have advanced tools for IP’s blacklist management. For now we don’t have any tools for automatic recovery after hack, but we have plans to create advanced backup module to make safe backups for the future recover in the case if your site get hacked.

For now, security report email of Security, Antivirus, Firewall – S.A.F do not support template customization. For now plugin send standard security report with full list of the results of security scans.
When you open security report module settings you can there change frequency of reports and time when exactly you wish to receive this security reports. Also you can customize theme of the security report email, by default subject: S.A.F. – wpTools Security Report.
We have plans for more advanced configuration of the reporting. Please check updated.

yes, of course! Security, Antivirus, Firewall – S.A.F plugin have multiply different antivirus scan modes. First module for local antivirus scan it’s files monitoring. You don’t need to enable online anti virus scanner to get basic antivirus protection.
In such mode plugin start local scan according to time configurations and periods of scanning.
For more reliable protection from viruses on your server it’s better to enable local antivirus with online protection. With online antivirus plugin check files which was marked as dangerous also check online antivirus to make sure that everything will be fixed and protected.
