I don’t know. We are a MacBook shop.
It was reported to us by a visitor using a computer in a library so I imagine something old.

In reply to: [WP Photo Album Plus] Sanitize filenamesToday, I tested the Sanitize Filenames on the backend using Photo Albums – Album Admin – Create New Empty Album – Upload to this Album. It stripped the dashes correctly!
Next I will test the Photo Albums – Upload Photos and report findings soon…

I have a lot of relatives in Belgium that use accented characters so this sanitization will be very beneficial to our filenames and captions.
Also, most of our filenames have spaces in them (versus dashes or underscores) so this is especially beneficial! Thank you!
Does this sanitize all existing filenames or just the new filenames that are uploaded?
My problem was that the Jetpack Traffic settings were interfering with the SEO Framework sitemap setting.
I turned off the Jetpack Traffic sitemap option and now the SEO Framework sitemap is working.
Hope this helps others.
I deactivated “The SEO Framework” plugin and then was able to update GA Google Analytics. I then reactivated the SEO Framework plugin.

Today I continued to encounter the “Illegal attempt to upload a file” errors.
Sometimes logging out/logging didn’t help, so I had to upload the photos using the plugin’s Admin backend.
So basically the front-end uploads sometimes work and sometimes don’t.
