In reply to: [MyCurator Content Curation] Curating Same Post More than OnceMyCurator uses the post URL to identify duplicates. Sometimes sites will put the same post in with a different URL, maybe tags for analytics or other reasons. In the Training Posts you can hover over the post URL in the far right column and see the full URL, which should have some differences even though its the same post.
If that is not the case, please post the Feed URL here or send it to us through the Contact Us menu item on our site and we can investigate further.

In reply to: [MyCurator Content Curation] No Longer Adding Article ContentAre you still having trouble with this? Our cloud site was down for a morning when you posted this.
All you need to do is drag a bookmarklet from each of your MyCurator sites to the bookmark bar. You will want to label each one with a name reflecting the site. You should then have a bookmarklet for each site.
With the Pro Plan you can have 2 sites and thus 2 bookmarklets. With the business plan you could have up to 6 bookmarklets.

In reply to: [MyCurator Content Curation] I cannot post any moreThis issue is resolved with version 2.1.2. The training tags will sometimes disappear because the topic custom taxonomy is somehow deleted (probably by changes to categories of the same name).
Version 2.1.2 rebuilds any missing topic taxonomies whenever the background process is run. While some posts in the training Posts page may all of the sudden lose training tags, the next time the background process runs the newest articles will have the training tags restored.

In reply to: [MyCurator Content Curation] Feed URL missing in Links sectionThis issue has been resolved with version 2.1.2. The fix was to use a database call rather than look to the cache for the Feed URL field.

In reply to: [MyCurator Content Curation] Google Alert Feeds emptyAs a first step, lets make sure all of your feeds are correctly linked to the Topic. Each item in the links page must be assigned to a Links Category. The Links Category is what the Sources look for in MyCurator. So create a Links Category and assign each of the Links entry to that Links Category by editing each link and choosing a Category in the detail page.
Now go into your Topic and you should see the Link Category name listed under Sources at the bottom of your Topic page. Check it and save the Topic.
Now all of your feeds should be linked to your Topic. Try running the manual process again and see if you get some items.

In reply to: [MyCurator Content Curation] Feed URL missing in Links sectionIf you click on one of the Links, you should see that the Feed Url is actually filled in and will be used. It is just not showing up on the listing page. I had previously only seen this on a network, and it was an internal WordPress error. I would like to investigate it further. If you could send me a Contact Us from our site, we can exchange some private information to help.

In reply to: [MyCurator Content Curation] Feed URL missing in Links sectionA multi site network is when you have just One installation of WordPress that lets you create multiple sites. There would be a Network Administrator that can see all of the sites created as well as visit or manage each site.
If you have several domains and sites but each one has its own copy of WordPress installed, then you do not have a network.

In reply to: [MyCurator Content Curation] Feed URL missing in Links sectionIs your new site part of a WordPress Multi-site Network? For some reason Multi-site networks don’t display the Feed URL where single site installations do.

In reply to: [MyCurator Content Curation] Feed Not Recognized in Source ItI’ll follow up with you on the contact us email you sent so we can exchange some private information.

In reply to: [MyCurator Content Curation] Feed Not Recognized in Source ItThe Source It tool can have problems when the sources are not coded in standard HTML. I looked at this site and they use a non-standard reference for the feed URL.
You can still copy the feed link and use our Source Quick Add menu item to add the source. Just right click the RSS feed icon and copy the link Then insert that as the feed URL in the Source Quick Add menu item.

In reply to: [MyCurator Content Curation] "Baby Boomer"To filter posts, you need to set up the Search 1 and Search 2 keywords for the Topic – the title itself actually does not perform any restrictions on the articles.
The Search 1 keywords for a Topic must be present in the article for it to be added to your Training Posts.
The Search 2 keywords are more flexible, only one of all of them listed need to be present for the article to be posted.
You can see how these filters are working by going to the Logs menu item that shows you what has happened to each article found by MyCurator.
