In reply to: [MxChat - AI Chatbot & Content Generation for WordPress] Live ChatTo answer your other question, live chat currently will require an openAI key, because the bot is built to be AI first and live chat can only be activated by going through AI intent.
I did think about the possibility of people wanting live chat only and will review this for the next update, but likely will not ready by Wednesday.
with current setup you could theoretically force it to only use live chat, but would still require openai key and credits.

You can see it on our Roadmap page with an expected release date of 12.4.24. I was gearing up for release and trying to have all the documentation ready to go and such before release as it does require some manual setup in slack. This will be a paid Pro feature, currently around $29.99 for lifetime license (with coupone).
It will work directly into Slack. It’s almost ready to release at the moment. I need to do a few more bug testing and some clean up and it will be pushed live!Once release I will also have demo videos of it and a video guide.

Currently, the rate limit is set to 24 hours for both logged-in and non-logged-in users. Soon, admins will have the ability to customize time periods for each group.
The specific limit depends on your business needs. For example, if your chatbot provides high-value services (e.g., analyzing PDFs, generating images) or you want to encourage sign ups, consider setting a low limit.
Some users set the limit to 5 for non-logged-in users and display a message like this after reaching the cap:
“You’ve reached your maximum free chats! Sign up now to [get premium access](https://example.com/access) and enjoy unlimited chats with advanced features.”
This approach helps restrict access for unpaid or non-logged-in users while driving conversions effectively.

Thanks for the suggestions. Before making this a widely available plugin I had clients ask for the same updates to the input copy “How can I assist”.
Update 1.0.11 should be live now and contains both of your suggestions. You should be able to now easily change the copy within the input field and adjust all of the text in the privacy policy field with hyperlinking capability.

Yes, this should be possible. I can update those messages to be customized like the other ones you’ve mentioned. That way you can easily change it to whatever language you would like. I’ll let you know once it’s updated. It might be a day or two!
