Yes I have tried that, but it did not work.

Also as you mentioned, sorting by descending seems to be working at first glance. But as you scroll to the bottom of the catalog, you will notice that some products with higher prices are right at the bottom. These are the same products that are showing up out of place when sorted in ascending order.
