yes I’ve read it but I cannot find the solution to this issue!

He simply says:
simply upload 2 or more images to your post(don’t forget to select one of them to be your featured image!). Then add a check to the Show Image Gallery option under to Post content editor:
I do exactly like he suggests but I see also the thumbnails.
