“it fires for every post type”

    That’s what I didn’t latch onto.
Was looking for something that I’d done (accidentally) that was pointing out the wrong way.

Understanding this background behaviour explains everything.
I’ve now put a post_type condition in each of my cpt save functions – et voila !!

    Thank you so much 🙂

    Thanks harishanker.
Unfortunately I won’t have access to the original site until next week.
(Was hoping that the downloaded files would give me all i needed 🙁 )

But I’ll try then and be sure to come back and feedback how it goes.

    Thanks for the reply.
“Hide thumblist/tabs under this window width” option … I can’t see that option. Can you walk me to it please ? or is it a ‘pro’ option ?

    Some more info….

As the screen size reduces, the main slider image is also reduced.
However, the nav buttons are not.
In addition, the buttons are positioned at a fixed pixel distance from the containing div’s left/right.

As the containing div gets smaller, the buttons are pushed in towards the main image.
The buttons are not shrinking, but the main image is.
Ultimately the tiny main image is obliterated by the now relatively huge buttons.

This style css had no chance of working on a small screen.
Conflict with another plugin as suggested above – nonsense.

As to why my thumbstrip & main pic are left-right on mobile and right-left on laptop … I am yet to look at.

    Same issue here.
On my HTC wildfire, Opera or native browser.

Website as it is today, but I’ll be changing very soon as this is a dev site and I need to keep moving : example

I have my slider set with a vertical thumbnail strip to the right of the main slide.

On mobile, the thumbnails are shown one under the other.
The main slide is way over to the right (not left) of thumbnails (so you have to scroll to it – if you know it’s there)
The left nav button appears over the top of one of the thumbnails, the right nav not visible at all.
    Basically it’s a mess.

What I’d hope to have seen, was my main image as priority first item.
Thumbnails under that. At least some attempt at an organised layout.

Master slider description from the plug in’s home page : “Optimized for Any Screen Sizes and Touch Devices”.

Ok, so it’s free…. but stings when you go to all the effort of installing, configuring, tweaking etc … another full evening gone 🙁
That’s a week disappeared given that this is the 4th plug in I’ve tried.
    Putting me off wordpress !

Unless someone can give some guidance ??
