In reply to: Change Title LinkHi barney1902,
The easiest way to do this will be to redirect https://barneypartyaustralia.com/ to https://barneypartyaustralia.com/home/
I recommend installing and activating the Redirection plugin: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/redirection/.
You can set up a 301 redirect, which will point users and bots to https://barneypartyaustralia.com/home/ instead of https://barneypartyaustralia.com. That will also be good for SEO.
Based on your set up, there’s another option. You could also set https://barneypartyaustralia.com/home/ to be the homepage at https://barneypartyaustralia.com/ by following this guide: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/how-to-create-a-custom-homepage-in-wordpress/

In reply to: How to update/upgrade local websitesHey satimis02,
I recommend following these easy-to-follow instructions from the WordPress documentation:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/article/upgrading-wordpress-extended-instructions/
You will not have to delete the data and rebuild your local sites. All you have to do is delete the old WordPress core files and add the updated files, which you’ll find out how to do in the instructions above.
I also recommend that you update the cloned websites on your local PC first to make sure everything works as it should. Once you confirm that the updates work with your site, then upgrade your live sites.

In reply to: Left gap in the navigation menu barbcworkz is also correct. Also, if you change the
div.menuport, a lot of other elements need to be restyled. And once you change those, you’ll need to alter them for mobile sizes too because it messes up the menu and header when the device width reduces.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Reduce/Remove Space after Top MenuHello missswain,
Could you please add the following code to the Themes > Customize > Additional CSS section of your WordPress Admin dashboard:
#header { margin-bottom: 60px; /* Change the 60px to whatever you feel looks better (maybe 30px?) */ position: relative; }That should allow you reduce or remove the space directly below the menu on all pages.

In reply to: Blog issuesHello arnold0516,
Could you please resave your permalinks under Settings > Permalinks inside your WordPress Admin dashboard?
It could also be that a plugin or theme is causing a conflict. If the permalinks idea above doesn’t work, please try to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.
If you can install plugins, install and activate Health Check: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/health-check/
It will add a new feature under Tools > Site Health.
On its Troubleshooting tab, you can Enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will disable all plugins, switch to a standard WordPress theme (if available), allow you to turn your plugins on and off, and switch between themes, without affecting normal visitors to your site. This allows you to test for various compatibility issues. There’s a more detailed description about how to use the Health Check plugin and its Troubleshooting Mode at https://make.ww.wp.xz.cn/support/handbook/appendix/troubleshooting-using-the-health-check/

In reply to: Best social share pluginHey Manoranjan,

In reply to: Update content on multiple pagesHey mcarruba,
Could you please follow these steps to make it easier to change the times on your site, which you’ll be able to do automatically for the 10 locations instead of manually 50 times:
- Install the Shortcoder, which should allow you to add and easily edit the times using shortcodes. You can create 10 separate shortcodes, one for the time at each location.
- Install the Search and Replace or CM On Demand Search And Replace plugin to find and replace all of the times on your site with the shortcodes you just created. If the times are the same, you will end up overwriting the shortcode for that location. So you’ll need to be careful when replacing the times.

In reply to: Update page don’t work after hosting moveHi jardah,
I see permissions errors in the information you provided. Could you please try to make sure that the WordPress files and folders have the correct file permissions using this guide: https://www.malcare.com/blog/wordpress-file-permissions/?
If not, could you please install the Health Check plugin and let us know what it says: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/health-check/?
Otherwise, I suggest contacting your new web host to see how they can help you. A lot of web hosts offer free website transfer and should be willing to help a new customer even if they don’t offer free transfers.

If your question has been answered, it would be great if you would mark this topic as resolved in the sidebar. This helps the forum’s volunteers find the topics that still need attention and more people will get helped, possibly like you did.
