You will not have to delete the data and rebuild your local sites. All you have to do is delete the old WordPress core files and add the updated files, which you’ll find out how to do in the instructions above.

I also recommend that you update the cloned websites on your local PC first to make sure everything works as it should. Once you confirm that the updates work with your site, then upgrade your live sites.

Could you please add the following code to the Themes > Customize > Additional CSS section of your WordPress Admin dashboard:

}

That should allow you reduce or remove the space directly below the menu on all pages.

You may have a plugin or theme conflict after upgrading.

Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install and activate Health Check: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/health-check/
It will add a new feature under Tools > Site Health.
On its Troubleshooting tab, you can Enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will disable all plugins, switch to a standard WordPress theme (if available), allow you to turn your plugins on and off, and switch between themes, without affecting normal visitors to your site. This allows you to test for various compatibility issues.
