Thank you for responding. Unfortunately nothing you or the link suggested works.

When renaming the plugin folder, there is absolutely no change – I still see error messages on the admin login screen.

When renaming the theme, the admin login screen goes white, so that means some sort of additional error.

Here is the error I see, maybe this will help? I was thinking maybe the database needs to be updated stating the WP install has been updated?
