Hi @phasar40 ,
Thank you for using Notification Master! We appreciate your support.
Regarding the issue with the popup notification not appearing in your Chrome browser, please follow these steps to ensure it’s properly set up:
- Navigate to the Settings page in the plugin.
- Go to the Web Push tab.
- Generate the keys and save the settings.
- Enable the option “Enable floating button to show a subscribe button on all pages.”
- If you have any caching plugins enabled, please temporarily disable them until you complete the setup.
Hi @phasar40,
Yes, the plugin supports email notifications based on the users registered on your site. You can also specify the email dynamically using merge tags or enter a custom email.
However, the plugin does not provide a field for users to enter their email when clicking “Allow” because it is primarily a notification plugin.
Let us know if you need further clarification!
Best regards
Hi @mintynz ,
Thank you for using Notification Master! 😊
Yes, you can send an email notification specifically to the author of a post or page. To do this:
- Add an Email Connection in the plugin settings.
- Add a User and select the Custom type.
- Use the following merge tag to dynamically insert the post author’s email:
{{post_author.email}}
