I have access to the dashboard but not all elements in there. for example I can get into pages but not into plugins or users. it just takes me to the page asking for a password.
Also here is a link from someone that has this issue too https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/site-suddenly-asking-for-a-password/ now they say there was malicious code in the admin.php file but I’m not sure what to look for
I am having this same issue. Trying to access the plugins tab and it does exactly the same as your site. did you manage to resolve this issue at all?
