Thanks for your feedback. It has guided me to the issue. The shortcode used was only [pgc], but in the rendered code, the calendar ID was printed in the HTML attributes, and my email-obfuscator plugin has transformed it to some JS-code.
Disabling the email-obfuscator in the given pages solved the issue.
