Malcare was recommended to me in a moment of panic. Easy to install and it automatically found the issue. The Auto Clean-up process for my website failed (I thought, OK, here we go!) but the system prompted me to submit it for review and a manual cleanup. It was a one click process so that could not have been easier. I did receive notice that a response could take up to 6 hours (12 on weekends) but to my surprise I received a note about 15 minutes later that malware has been successfully removed from my website and is now clean.
