In reply to: [Advanced Editor Tools] Detecting old version of WordPressAnd just to bring this full circle, here is the solution in case anyone else gets the same problem.
The issue is caused by 1and1. If you use their ‘App Centre’ to install Worpdress on your behalf, the TinyMCE Advanced plugin will not run.
The solution is to switch your WordPress installation into “Free mode”, using their control panel. Once in “Free mode” you are able to re-install 4.1.1 using Dashboard, Updates. After this TinyMCE Advanced will run correctly.
Hope this helps someone else.

In reply to: [Advanced Editor Tools] Detecting old version of WordPressLittle bit more information:
I have three WordPress sites running on 1and1 servers.
2 of them are running version 4.1.1
1 is running version 4.1I get the error message on both instances that are running 4.1.1
The server running 4.1 runs the plugin with no issue. Thanks,
Peter

In reply to: [Twenty Fourteen] Twentyfourteen Multi-level Menus go off screenIs there a sensible solution to this problem? There are a whole range of screen sizes where drop down menus don’t appear.
