In reply to: [Stealth Login Page] Stealth Login Lost Password LinkI’d like to get that and the logout button in the admin toolbar to work but I need to work out how to add a filter to that WP hook to do so to inject the custom URL. It’s on my to-do list along with being 3.6-ready.

In reply to: [Stealth Login Page] Can reach stealth login page for site, but cannot loginThat is an issue with your host – sounds like you’re on a VPS and their permissions are junk. Just do it from Plesk…
This plugin assumes a certain level of WP and server know-how to reason that this plugin is useful in the first place. If these things are difficult, this plugin really isn’t meant for you.
I will be doubly sure the SVN matches what I have on my local box and my test sites before leaving for an evening of family time from now on to ensure it behaves on download how it does in my testing, but when it comes to understanding one’s hosting, that is the sort of thing we developers offer our services for in return for moolah.
20 hours later and the lockout log is still free of attackers. v2.0.2 is the latest stable version at this moment.

In reply to: [Stealth Login Page] Fatal errorYeah – I know. You’ve already stated that.
2.0.2 is live – SVN didn’t match what was committed to the server.

In reply to: [Stealth Login Page] Fatal errorThe repository did not accept my commit of that file. I’ll try to re-commit it.

I’m looking for that error, but that’s not declared in line 7 of the copy I’m looking at.

In reply to: [Stealth Login Page] Can reach stealth login page for site, but cannot loginI’ve released 2.0.1 – I’ve confirmed the bugfix on 2 installs and there have not been any brute force lockouts on either since 2.0.0
Please update this if you find 2.0.1 to not correct the login issue.

In reply to: [Stealth Login Page] Can reach stealth login page for site, but cannot loginI can confirm it is doing it on a site or two of mine – but yes, that method to get back in is stated in the FAQ. I’ll see if I can track down the issue in the morning before lunch and release 2.0.1
Update to version 2.0.0 now – it should have closed that hole. I’m clearing my Limit Login Attempts log and will see how it goes.

In reply to: [Stealth Login Page] Forwarding in plugin's settings doesn't workI concur. The more I dig into some server-side and login process items, the closer I think I am to the only one who can block a particular bot attack.

In reply to: [Stealth Login Page] great solution to april 2013 botnet attacksIt might not be this attack that bypasses it, but I have a few that still get caught by Limit Login Attempts, so that means they are attempting to log in without being able to find my login form URL.
I’m hesitant to say how they are doing it, but I’m aware and testing different solutions, but haven’t found one yet.
