In reply to: [Contextual Related Posts] 4.0 Breaks Exclude Posts FunctionalityThanks, Ajay, I will wait for the official version when it is released. No rush from our side because we have rolled back to 3.6.2 so the production site is working as expected.

In reply to: [Contextual Related Posts] 4.0 Breaks Exclude Posts FunctionalityThe problem is with both the widget and shortcode. It started with 4.0 and persists with 4.0.1.
Thanks for your response. I understand that the error is showing in Paypal for Woo but if Woo pdf invoices is deactivated the error disappears – in other words we can process orders in CartFlows + Paypal for Woo without any problems. In fact, till the latest update in your plugin things were working fine.
I am reporting a conflict between these two plugins. Please test Woo pdf invoice with Paypal for Woo and CartFlows. If they work fine, please let me know and I will provide the specifics of our installation.
Matt, we have the same problem. It works great with the optimization but serving adds a private cache control header which prevents caching in Cloudflare Pro.
Had to disable the plugin.
Thanks for responding.
- The control doesn’t transfer to the Thank You page. The error is displayed on the checkout page after sometime
- Here’s the error from the error log. It disappears when pdf invoices plugin is deactivated

In reply to: [Contextual Related Posts] SearchBox for Manual Related PostsThanks, Ajay, this is super helpful!
However, I am also requesting two “bulk actions”:
1. Disable Related Posts display
2. Exclude this post from the related posts listAnd the same under the bulk edit and quick edit screens.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Contextual Related Posts] SearchBox for Manual Related PostsCompletely understand, Ajay!
Are bulk edits in the plans? Bulk update for remove from related posts and remove related posts would be a really helpful feature to have for sites with a large number of posts.
Thanks again for a great plugin!

In reply to: [Contextual Related Posts] SearchBox for Manual Related PostsHi Ajay,
Didn’t get notified of this response.
We use Rank Math PRO but I believe Yoast also has this feature.
The real problem is when we have a lot of posts say in the thousands and some are indexed and some aren’t. Add to it content duplication (which is inevitable with thousands of posts on the same website!) Now the website with a Related Posts plugin is a minefield that will kill SEO.
- Links on a post that go to unindexed posts
- Links that go to competing posts
A couple of features can help manage this chaos:
1. Bulk Editing that allows remove this post from related posts and remove related posts from this post
2. quick edit with the features above
3. Manual related posts search, add, remove
4. Pillar posts only
5. Indexed posts onlyIf one wants to take it to another level then factor in:
1. Maximum incoming internal and external links to a post (connect with Deepcrawl, Sitebulb etc.)
2. Higher ranking posts (connect with RankMath, Wincher et al)
3. Higher performing posts – page views, searches (connect with site searchLooks like a PRO version of CRP to me 🙂
Hope this helps!

In reply to: [Astra] Breadcrumb Source DisappearedThanks, Herman, we are able to see the source and change it to default and save it but it doesn’t do anything i.e. RankMath still gives the message:
This option cannot be changed since your theme has added the support for Rank Math Breadcrumbs using:
add_theme_support( ‘rank-math-breadcrumbs’ );This error has been reported to your helpdesk and they are working on it.
Really appreciate your response, though!

In reply to: [Sessions] WP Download Manager Login Sessions Don’t Log outNo, a user can sit idle on a page and they are not logged out. I believe they should be after 15 minutes. Not sure if I am missing something about the functionality of the plugin.

In reply to: [Sessions] WP Download Manager Login Sessions Don’t Log outUnfortunately, this is not the case because I am testing with a test user that is sitting on a page. I have tried this with multiple different types of pages – static pages and a self refreshing dynamic community page that does have periodic ajax calls to get the latest posts.
Thanks, Jose!
I wasn’t sure on how to get support. Will open a ticket on the support forum on the plugin’s website to have this discussion there.
We have rolled back to previous versions of both plugins and are testing them – really like the plugins! Awesome job!!
See you in the support forum to get this issue resolved.

In reply to: [Contextual Related Posts] SearchBox for Manual Related PostsThanks, Ajay.
Some posts/pages can be marked as “pillar” – those that we want to rank on so optimized for search engine. The more the links to these posts the higher their odds of ranking because the search engines think they are “important” to the website – one of the key ranking factors.
Some posts/pages are not important but cannot be deleted from the website. There are different strategies available to tell the search engine not to use them. One of these is to mark them as “no index”
The popular SEO plugins allow marking post(s) as pillar and “no index” etc. on a post by post basis.
Ideally, one would want to include a post marked as “pillar” in related posts so they automatically get internal links back to them. This is especially valuable if a site has thousands of posts and one changes pillar content. Automatically, this content would take precedence over the other posts and be included in related posts. The same logic for “no index” etc.
Hope this helps.
