I tried renaming the directory and it just resulted in total kaos
I was lucky to restore the site but still the same problem. The dashboard is blank. Now it says my theme is broken. I am using themes from mysitemyway. Are they no longer in business? Am I going to have to change everything?

Wow thanks for all the great input folks! I really appreciate it. Will be contacting my server today and post an update in case it helps anyone in the future.

OK the thing is the site is doing fine. Its the Dashboard! When i go to edit a page…boooom…takes forever to load the page!
Ideas?

ok so …the dashboard froze the profiler. This is bad. How os this possible? What to do?

i searched the forums and could not find anything related to any bug in WP. BELEIVE ME! I searched and searched these forums and thought I was doing something wrong. Thats when people suggested i change paths or whatever just start experimenting. The whole time it was a bug and finally someone told me about it. I think the lesson to be learned here is that it is great to have help forums like this so that we can all get on with our business:-)

i get rid of the semicolon and put the path back to the recommended folders and yippieeeeeeee!!!!!!
Man….everything was intially caused by this semicolon damn thing. I intially did not know it needed to be deleted or was a bug!!! The paths…I moved them trying to figure out what went wrong and now putting everything back and removing the ; made it work!!!!Yahhooo!!
