Regarding your concern, the theme you are using probably are not using the default `widget` class to each widget items. Can you try this [version](https://widget-options.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/widget-options.zip) and go to **Settings > Widget Options** then on **Classes & ID** settings configuration check the option that will remove the automatic addition of the `widget` class.
