With regards to the question, this plugin is only applicable for the images added via wordpress editor so featured images are not supported. With regards to the questions, 1. The Google+ link will have the ?rel=author parameter and just add the site url to your google+ profile 2. The lite and pro version only supports authorbox and doesn’t have any profile page.
