you are doing it wrong, you can’t use external jquery.js, please use WordPress provided jQuery by using

wp_enqueue_script('jquery');

you can write your jquery code like this

jQuery(document).ready(function($) {

// replace jQuery by $
 $(document).on('click', '.element-class', function(){

// write your code here.

 })

})

Not sure why this is happening on your site, i just checekd the plugin thumbnail is showing fine here, could you please check elements tab for thumbnail settings and set full size thumbnail, let me know the result.
